Well Done and Congratulations to Ann, Relle & Sue Who Conquered this Year’s “Jetty 2 Jetty”!
Thousands of people took part in Redcliffe’s annual Jetty 2 Jetty on July 22nd, including our beloved clinic staff, Ann, Relle & Sue.
The Jetty 2 Jetty has four distances in total, including the 10km BallyCara run and the Half Marathon. The 3 ladies all began at Crockatt Park, Woody Point and made their way along the Redcliffe Peninsula foreshore and back.
We are very proud of our Physiotherapist, Ann Chippa, who completed the GKS Law Half Marathon in 2 hours and 22 minutes, go Ann! Ann also raised over $2,300 for the Butterfly Thyroid Cancer Trust, which was such a huge achievement.
Ann, post race, standing proud with her well-deserved medal!
The Half Marathon scenic course follows the waterfront, starting and finishing in front of the Belvedere Hotel next to the Woody Point Jetty. The 21.1km course follows the coast line to Scarborough, before returning to the Woody Point Jetty. The Half Marathon event attracts local, national & international competitors each year.
Sue and Relle ran the Dolphins Health Precint 5km run just for fun and crossed the finish line with flying colours, go ladies!

The 5km is a popular event that attracts all members of the family. The course starts at the Belvedere Hotel, next to the Woody Point Jetty & progresses 2.5km before looping back to the finish line. It is the perfect course for those looking to challenge themselves and friends, or just have a fun and fitness day with family and friends.
A big thank you Maria, Simone, Matt and Max who came along to the Jetty to Jetty in support of our 3 SPHC runners coming across the finish line!
