Combining Traditional Chinese Medicine with modern day science, Sports Acupuncture is used to treat a wide range of soft tissue injuries. It works by stimulating the body to heal itself. Acupuncture can be used to relax, stimulate, balance, ease pain, decrease swelling and reduce inflammation.
Following an assessment of your condition our therapist will apply a range of Remedial massage techniques followed by an Acupuncture treatment.

Neil Whillans – Acupuncturist
Neil started working as an Acupuncturist and Massage Therapist in 1995, after becoming a Fellow at AACMA and has been hugely popular at Sandgate Physical Health Clinic since commencing work here in 2001. He has an extensive history of providing comprehensive Acupuncture and Massage Therapy treatments with a focus on musculoskeletal injuries.
Neil has also worked with many professional sporting teams including Brisbane Broncos and Brisbane Lions. Neil’s highly sought after skills sees him working with Olympic level athletes, local sporting athletes and non-athletes alike.
